Jordan Peterson broke down the big 5 in two pair each. I assume it was his work. It breaks conscientious into orderliness and industriousness. I scored low on orderliness and very high on industriousness. I felt it well captured my little path to career success as software engineer and then entrepreneurship.
Interesting I'd not heard that further breakdown, but it does make sense. Suspect industriousness has a much stronger linkage to success than orderliness!
A good read Tom - as usual. There's another 'C' word that comes to mind in context of success. Earl Nightingale spoke of it in his recorded work, The Strangest Secret.
Courage...
"The opposite of courage in our society is not cowardice ... it is conformity. And there you have the reason for so many failures. Conformity — people acting like everyone else, without knowing why or where they are going."
Thanks Mike, yes fully agree and that's a great quote from Nightingale.
I would go a step further and say that conformity is living a lie. In an earlier post, "What is success - really?" I posited that the opposite of success is not failure, but living a lie.
Sartre described this as "bad faith" - not wanting to admit the truth about something to oneself.

Another great article Tom, enjoying this success series.
Many thanks Joe, I will continue with it.
